About a month ago I found out someone very close to me was positive. That is about as far into detail as I will go with that. I then found out about the Austin’s AIDS Walk to help fight the disorder, and immediately became interested in participating in and volunteering. It just made sense, and really, it was the least I could do.
A few days after I began raising money for the event, I received a call from an ASA board member. They wanted me to photograph the event! This was really exciting to me, and I thanked them for giving me the opportunity to give back to Austin’s community in a way where I’d also be able to express my creativity. I hope you all enjoy the photos.
